The Central Missouri Humane Society is a private, non-profit, tax exempt corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors. Funding is generated by public contributions, donations through CMHS activity, member support and contractual services.

Your support allows the CMHS to continue our commitment to the animals and citizens of Central Missouri. Since a majority of our income is supplied by voluntary donations, your donation whether in the form of volunteer hours or a monetary donation is an important part of caring for the animals in our care.

Feed a homeless dog for one week with just 50 cents!!

To keep our animals on a stable and nutristious diet, CMHS has a partnership with Science Diet. We are able to purchase great food at a reasonable price. Just 25 cents a pound! Feeding a regular diet of high quality food is much easier on the digestive track of the homeless animals and it boosts their immunity.

If you would like to help us feed the animals, please consider making a monetary donation. Just 50 cents can feed a medium-sized dog for nearly a week.
