The Pepper & Friends morning show on KOMU features one of our available pets daily on the 5 o'clock evening news and a second pet appears every Tuesday and Thursday between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Thanks to Arlene Nienkamp, who takes animals to the station).

Businesses That Host Our Pets at Their Site
The Columbia Public Library hosts us every second Saturday from March to August for "Pet Connection." From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., come to the library and meet some puppies and/or kittens and talk with representatives of the CMHS!

Columbia Area Veterinarians who generously offer free physical examinations for each adopted pet.

Columbia Second Chance who takes many of our animals and provides them temporary shelter while finding them homes.
